I have recently been working as Admin support for the immunisation and vaccination team.I had to support the nurses with all the paper works and flu vaccination forms we get back from parents. I helped them out at session with all the paperwork and make sure that we have correct amount of vaccination done on the session in the school. I had to talk to many different parents, and school staff at every session and make sure that everything goes smoothly. I also had to answer any queries parents had and make sure that the child is eligible to have the nasal flu vaccination. I have developed my skills at communication, organisation, team work and professionalism through this.
Caludon Centre, Medical Records (CWPT) (02/2017 -05/2017)
My role as a work placement candidate was to be a support admin. I had to support and help out the Medical Record team, for example filing papers into files of patients, pulling files out for appointments and also putting files back into the racks in alphabetical order. I also had to do use their IT system to find locations of some files, whiles helping out the team. This helped to develop my organisation skills as I learned how efficiently the order of the files is making the work easier and is a good skill to have during jobs like administration.
Netto Markt (Germany) (11/2016 -12/2016)
My role as a retail assistant I had to make sure that all the items on the shelves were refilled and out in the correct order for the customers. I had make sure that the shop was clean and also help customers with queries they had. I have worked with the team in order to help each other at the peak times in the store and make sure that all of us have had our turns and breaks.
Positive Youth Foundation (08/09/14 – 09/10/14)
My role as was to be a support team members with my colleague. We had to work together to complete task, do mentoring with youths, help with some documents and other events planning that was going on. We also used to go on duty once a week with a team member at the school playgrounds to provide the children with equipment such as balls or rackets and help with activities during lunch times. This placement was part of my Sport and science course. This helped me developed my time management skills, as I had to be there on time every day and helped me work on my team work skills with working with a colleague.
